Job Summary: As the Business Development Director, you will play a critical role in expanding our client’s client base and driving revenue growth for their Cyber and Privacy Business Unit. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, fostering relationships with key clients, and contributing to the overall success of our client’s organisation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling cyber security and data privacy consulting solutions, possess sector expertise in UK/European energy, renewables, and public sector, and be fluent in French at a business level.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and drive commercial revenue growth.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, focusing on cyber consulting solutions such as risk management, application security, MDR, and cyber threat intelligence.
- Utilise your network and engage with thought leadership activities to generate new leads, particularly targeting new labels.
- Support the sales activities of the cyber and privacy consulting teams, assisting in generating leads and expanding existing client solutions.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, security leaders, and decision-makers in target organisations.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor our client’s offerings to address specific client needs and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving cyber threats to provide informed insights and recommendations to clients.
- Track and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Proven success in selling cyber security and data privacy consulting solutions.
- Demonstrated expertise in the UK/European energy, renewables, and public sector.
- Fluent in French at a business level.
- Established personal network within the cyber security industry.
- Confident in public speaking and representing the company at industry events.
- In-depth knowledge of cyber security and privacy subject matter.
- Familiarity with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in sectors such as UK energy, public sector, health, finance, and telecoms.
