Job Description:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span>
\nWe are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team in the North of Munich. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and implementation of our network infrastructure. This role also involves managing projects related to network operations and working with incident, problem, change management, and configuration management processes.<\/span><\/span>
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span>
\nNetwork Administration:<\/strong><\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0 – Administer, configure, and implement network components including Firewalls (FortiSuite, FortiManager, Fortigate, and Fortianalyser), Switches (HP and Cisco), Fibre Channel Switches, ClearPass, IMC, VLANs, routing, zoning, subnetting, interfaces configuration, rules, port configurations, troubleshooting, ACLs, and clustering.<\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0 – Handle VoIP and network troubleshooting.<\/span><\/span>
\n-Project Management:<\/strong><\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0 – Manage projects related to network infrastructure.<\/span><\/span>
\nTicket System Management:<\/strong><\/span><\/span>
\n\u00a0 – Work with the ticket system to address incidents, problems, change management, and configuration management.<\/span><\/span>
\nRequirements\/Knowledge\/Experience:<\/strong><\/span><\/span>
\n– Strong knowledge of network administration and troubleshooting at an administration level.<\/span><\/span>
\n– Proficiency in Firewall technologies (FortiSuite, FortiManager, Fortigate, and Fortianalyser) at an administration level.<\/span><\/span>
\n– Familiarity with Switches (HP and Cisco) at an administration level.<\/span><\/span>
\n– Experience with Fibre Channel Switches at an administration level.<\/span><\/span>
\n– In-depth understanding of VLANs, routing, zoning, subnetting, interfaces configuration, rules, port configurations, troubleshooting, ACLs, and clustering at an administration level.<\/span><\/span>
\n– Knowledge of ClearPass and IMC would be beneficial.<\/span><\/span>
\n– Familiarity with VoIP technologies is a plus.<\/span><\/span>
\n– Strong documentation skills.<\/span><\/span>
\n– Willingness to acquire new skills, including self-study.<\/span><\/span>
\n– Proficiency in English (spoken and written).<\/span><\/span>
\n– Security check (\u00dc2) available or willingness to undergo the process to obtain it.<\/span><\/span>
\n– Willingness to obtain relevant certifications.<\/span><\/span>
\n– Willingness to work in a rotation system to cover service hours, including occasional work outside standard working hours (usually one Saturday per month).<\/span><\/span>
\n– Fluency in English (written and spoken); basic knowledge of German is desirable.<\/span><\/span>
\n– Due to special requirements, candidates must undergo security clearance.<\/span><\/span>
\n– German, British, Spanish, or Italian nationality is required.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
